The Christian Bible is written mostly in Hebrew, and also in Greek. After all, it was the Jewish Bible before Christianity was ever a well-known word. There are many English translations, but none can compare with the deeper understanding and contentment that comes from reading the actual words in the original language.

I welcome all to join me for a once-a-week, in-home group study of Biblical Hebrew. I'm Christian myself but I welcome anybody interested, without regard for whether they are Christian, Jewish, or neither.

We will focus on one book of the Bible and attempt to read that particular book of the Bible from beginning to end. We will start by learning the 22 letters of the original Hebrew alphabet (and the Tiberian vocalization marks), then vocabulary as it comes up in our reading. We will also learn about Hebrew word roots, the person and tenses, the seven constructs, and other basic principles of Biblical Hebrew. We will be able to read the original Hebrew Bible on our own within just a few weeks. This will all be in a personalized, gradual and non-technical approach. You will also be shown free resources that will enable you to continue reading and learning on your own for years to come.

There is no charge for this, I'm making the offer for the purpose of meeting others who share a desire to learn the Bible more and understand it better. I'm having a hard time finding a church that has real passion, so I'm trying to meet individuals instead, and this is how I'm trying to do that. Study group will be in either my home or, if anybody wants to offer their home, once a week. This is geared for people who know absolutely nothing about Biblical Hebrew, to start from the very beginning and go from there. A Hebrew text is recommended and can be bought locally, online or from me, and the price ranges from 20 to 35 dollars for the text, depending where you choose to buy it. If you cannot afford that, don't worry about it, I will find a way to provide it for you. Other than that, there are no materials to buy. This is not a business or a scam, its just somebody looking to find others with similar passion to share this with. NOTE: Native Hebrew speakers wanting to study the Bible would also be very welcome. Maybe we could learn from you too.

I work out at 24 Hour fitness and am looking for a workout partner. Male/Female does not matter. I am looking for someone to complete a full workout during the morning hours. Emphasis on strength training, body building,and getting into physical personal condition. I am looking for someone who is in ok shape, not looking to babysit, but build on good bases for perfect physique. Ideal hours 8-10am. Gym Locations flexible(patrick/sunset) or (Eastern/Sahara). Looking at 3-4 days a week working out. One hour is plenty of time for a killer routine. If anyone is interested, please contact asap. Cirque Artist's Master Movement Class (near the Arts District)

Karl Baumann has been creating and performing characters for several Cirque du Soleil shows (Mystere, Las Vegas and Quidam North American tour).
Most recently Karl was on the worldwide tour of Cirque's multimedia Arena show "Delirium".
He was the lead character (Bill) in that show.
Delirium will be shown in movietheatres throughout the country in August with Sony's new "The Hot Ticket".
Karl has also played "Puck" in "A Midsummernights Dream" for the North Carolina Shakespeare festival and has apeared on The Tonight Show and Rosy O'Donnel show. You can see him in many music videos including Aerosmith's "Jaded" Music video. He also created (evil) characters for the CGI animation of 'Narnia "The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe", and played Bluey The Clown in The motionpicture FXII.
Karl has been teaching workshops for "Motionfest", Cal state University, Cirque du Soleil and others.

His goal is to help performers to create a wider range of movement and acting possibilities and use their individual strenght to improve their performance quality on stage.
Workshop Description

The natural ways we move, walk, and talk are unique to each individual. Idiosyncrasies can be an asset. Exaggerating a supposed "weakness" can enrich a performance. We will focus on developing these individual aspects, enhancing them to crate a stronger character and act. Precision is the next step, after discovering your individual way of moving. Every action needs to be visibly clear, so the audience can read you on stage. This precision in movement can be likened to creating an animation cartoon, frame by frame. The goal is to intrigue the audience by everything you do on stage. This includes simple walks, looks, or even standing still. The class utilizes improvising, reflection, and organization to help you define, refine, and build your character. Workshops are available for both the beginning an experienced movers.
