WE ARE STILL DESPERATELY LOOKING for our cat, P�nut! She has been missing since Saturday, October 24, 2009 from the Southwest part of town within the Mountains Edge Community, Durango and Blue Diamond area.

Our P�nut is a grey and white stripped tabby, American Short Hair with a white chest and paws, 2.5/yrs old, and fairly small in frame, she is friendly though a little skittish at first especially if she is scared, we are sure she is lost mainly because she doesn�t know the area. I have posted a few photos' below.

If you have seen her please respond back even if it's just to say you have seen her and the location;we miss her very much and we are REFUSING to give up our search!

Our dog Star is missing since Friday night 10/16/09 and we have been looking everywhere. Our neighbors were setting fireworks that night, she got spooked and ran away.

Star is a Chihuahua / Greyhound / Sheperd Mix. We rescued her when she was 5 days old. She�s 8 yrs old now, fixed and microchiped, 16 lbs., tan coat with white chest and belly, curled tail.

Star loves to run and cuddle but thinks she's too good to play fetch. The kids keep asking where she is. Pls help us bring her back home.

We appreciate all the great e-mails w/ advice but we already notified her microchip company, sent flyers to all the shelters and vet clinics in our area and have been going to Lied every other day. We've also signed up for PetHarbor, FidoFinder, etc.

THIS IS NOT AN AD! PLEASE see this excellent SOLUTION TO FINDING LOST PETS... PLEASE READ THIS if you are looking for your lost pet: because wouldn't it be a relief to say "found" instead of "lost"?

My cat has been gone since 10-17 and I am sick over it and at a loss at this point. I have put out ads and posters everywhere, I go to Lied every night. The lady at the end of my street saw a coyote carrying a poor "tabby and white" cat about 10 hours after he got out. My cat is a Snowshoe, which is Siamese and white. The 10 hour time lapse is also giving me enough hope to keep on looking... I am hoping a neighbor fell for his irresistible charm, and he's safe at least! Regardless of the outcome, I need to know what happened and where he is!

How BADLY DO YOU WANT TO FIND YOUR LOST PET? All I know is I haven't had one good night's sleep since he got out and I cry like a baby when I think too hard about it.

My funds are tight, and I know I'm not the only one with that problem. However, I have set aside a certain amount of CASH for a REWARD. Have YOU done that too?

I believe there is a MUCH BETTER use for that reward money and there IS a way to FIND your pet or AT LEAST try to find out what happened. It is FASTER than waiting and looking and waiting! It won't even cost that much! I see some people offering a lot of cash as a reward, more than this idea would cost if we all share the expenses!

There is an excellent, bona fide k9 Search and Rescue tracking team in Washington state. His name is Harry Oakes and he is the most documented missing person and missing pet SAR expert in the world, with many, many references (36+ years tracking missing persons, 24+ years tracking missing pets). He is also a caring and kind man who is sensitive to the pain we are going through.

In my past I trained dogs professionally (mostly service-dogs-"k9's") and from doing a little research I can say that he is the real-deal, not some phony, and believe me, the phonies are out there! He has helped so, so many people. He is a retired police officer. He works all over the world in different SAR situations, whether searching for earthquake-victims, or tracking a lost child, or finding a murder victim, or tracking a lost Alzheimer's patient.

What is so cool is that he also tracks LOST PETS, and he has a great website showing what he has done! Just see for yourself: http://www.k9sardog.com/foundpets.html. Wouldn't it be a relief to know where your dog or cat is, or find out what happened? The looking and waiting and hoping game is so stressful!

I think this is a much more proactive way to use that REWARD money! We'd just be giving HIM the reward money, instead of waiting for that phone call from someone who saw your poster, and then hoping it really IS your pet they found!

I'm am trying to find some people with lost pets to share costs to help bring him here to track our lost pets. He said it would cost $2000 for his travel costs, then $50 per 15 minutes for each search. Most pets are found within 15-60 minutes. He can perform 4 searches per day. If there are 10-12 people willing to pay the reward out this way, it can really be affordable, especially if we all were to pay equal amounts!

Over the last 24 years, in 98% of the cases, his search-dog team tracked right to where the pet was at, or where it was picked up by some well-meaning person, or where it was killed by a predator or car. If you also feel that this is well worth finding out, and believe it will save you a lot of time and heartache, please let me know as soon as possible!

Anyways, I miss him so much I haven't got one good night's sleep since he didn't come home on 10-17. So, he is not still in hiding--he knows where the doors are and how to get home. On October 22 my boy's three quads and my trailer were stolen from next to my garage along with my wife's dirtbike. Someone who is too lazy to work and earn the money to buy them for themselves decided they wanted to just take them from us. Unfortunately my homeowner's insurance will not cover them because they are vehicles, even though when we bought them they told me as long as it's on my property, no problem. I am offering a reward for the return of any or all of the items stolen. The trailer is a black 15' long by 5' wide Aztec flatbed with a diamond plated toolbox on the upper front and a couple of bent wheel chocks. The tongue jack will be damaged as whoever took it did not know how to raise it obviously because there are drag marks half way down the street. The dirtbike is a pink and black Suzuki DR-Z125L with a yellow and blue seat and a bent clutch lever. The first quad is a Polaris Outlaw 90, red and white with an orange flag. The second quad is a Polaris Outlaw 50, red and white with a checkered flag and the front headlight trim piece missing. The thired quad is a cheap chinese quad that is maroon and says "Lorcin" on the engine. The headlight is loose and the taillight lens is missing along with some other plastic damage. I have included pics and THERE IS A REWARD IF THEY ARE FOUND!!!! Please call the local police if you see them or know where they are. My boys are heartbroken. Thank you.
