Interstate vs. Local Movers
There is a big difference in licensing between interstate and local movers. Local movers are licensed by the State of Nevada, while interstate movers are licensed by the US DOT. It is illegal for a local mover to cross state lines, and likewise, it is illegal for an interstate mover NOT to cross state lines. Some movers will be licensed for both intrastate (Within Nevada) and interstate (Within US).
Make sure to choose a mover who is licensed for the move you are doing.

Preparing for a Move
There is a long checklist of things to do for a move, so here are some basics.
Obviously, choose a mover. You should get 3-4 estimates, and make sure to research the companies you are thinking of hiring. Check out their license information, and make sure it is valid.
Start packing well in advance of the move date. This will allow you to be more organized at your destination.
Make sure to submit a change of address to the USPS.

Charges are $20 or $25 per hour per man depending if you have stairs or not. 2 Hour minimum. We have our own dollies/hand trucks,and blankets for in-town moves. (For out of town/state moves you'll need to rent blankets with the truck) We will work pretty much any day at any time,although we charge a bit more for jobs starting after 5pm. If you are going out of state,we can even load your truck,drive it for you to your destination,and then unload it.We can work out a flat fee for the whole job.

Everyone wants to cut costs nowadays, so here are some basic guidelines to reducing the cost of your move:
1. Be flexible - If your moving date is flexible, we can work on the price for you.
2. Be prepared - Make sure the boxes are packed and furniture is ready to go.
3. Do your own packing - We can do the packing if you are short on time or resources, but that will cost extra.
