I would prefer to know the truth about this issue versus some delusions about the 9/11 incident, as that incident has been thoroughly investigated and I participated in that investigation, and submitted my reports to the Congressional 9/11 Committee explaining the actions of petroleum fuels that burst out of the two aircraft, totally about 100,000 gallons of fuel and how it permeated the entire structure like a bathtub being overfilled on a top flower and just poured down the inside of the building.
By doing so, it then seep into the furniture, the drywall, all plastics which are composed of petroleum products, etc., and then when the ignition source sparked the vapors of the fuel inside the building, the fire began and it grew more intense, as the plastic reached their levels to ignite and the whole building was destroyed from within as it was a capsule.
That is the truth and nothing but the truth, from strictly a scientific approach to the characteristics of petroleum from me, a petroleum analyst.
Now find out why Obama was not seen before 1981 and when he surfaced in the US, he didn't have the money to buy a bus fare then he becomes the person who claims the white house, even though, he was not vetted.
Why, after he was adopted by Mr. Soetoro and went to Pakistan, in the years he lived with his step-father and mother in Jakatara and Pakistan was off-limits to US citizens, how did he get into the country of Pakistan, knowing an American passport would not gain him entry.
The only other option, since he was legally adopted by Mr. Soetoro, his citizenship, if he had any was revoked to obtain an Indonesia passport.

If you are unfamiliar with these facts, you are either NOT reading/listening to the national news, or you aren’t paying close enough attention! Facts and figures stated here were accumulated over a period of years from the Associated Press, CNN and other reliable US news sources:
There was a time when the US Federal Government paid each good citizen $25 a head to turn in illegal immigrants for deportation. The financial gain was a great incentive to prospective employers to verify eligibility to work and eliminate those here illegally. This “bonus” for doing the right thing was reversed during the Clinton administration and should be restored!
Race-based incentives have hurt our country and our economy more than they have helped equalize opportunity. If a Caucasian student cannot get a college scholarship even with a high GPA because they are bumped in favor of a minority with a low GPA and little or no incentive, then cannot get a job with a descent income for the rest of their life, how does that equalize anything? You now have someone with little or no incentive to do a good job on the job, and someone who put forth a good effort struggling to survive.
The US government has also put in place race-based grant incentives to medical care facilities and domestic violence shelters, paying more to service minorities including the children of illegal immigrants. So when an abused spouse enters a domestic violence shelter, the government pays the shelter more if the victim is a minority. The same is true of medical care. The result is that these facilities have incentive to turn away some races in favor of others because their income will increase if they do! The result, race-based deaths!
Add to this the fact that our government has limited liability to medical facilities serving the communities on the premise of lowering medical malpractice insurance and therefore costs. Yet medical malpractice insurance has NOT gone down and is a huge contributing factor to medical costs to the patient. The result is that the facilities that already have incentive to discriminate on the basis of race, KNOW they can neglect the medical care of some people based on race and NOT have any legal remedy to the patient who may die as a result. The same people that put these laws in place, get the VIP treatment from these medical facilities!
The United States has a crime rate among illegal immigrants that's two and a half times that of non-illegals and is a leading cause of ID theft and forgery. Mexico openly admits that 90% of crimes committed in their country are NEVER investigated or prosecuted. This creates a society that believes that laws do not apply to them. Take a look at any random US state at their top ten most wanted or the sex-offender registry and the results are shocking! A cleaver way to hide the truth is that Hispanic sex offenders are listed as “White”! This crime spree isn’t cheap nor does it insure your family’s safety!
American tax-payers’ money spent supporting illegal immigrants amounts to an estimated $ 338.3 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR including things such as social services, food stamps, WIC, school lunches, Medicaid, education, incarceration and prosecution. Often illegals have multiple ID’s to access free services and avoid taxes. The expense listed above does NOT include charities that financially support them as well. Nor does it include the BILLIONS of dollars to US citizens who are hit by uninsured drivers that provide fake information, then disappear leaving thousands of dollars in uncovered damages and resulting insurance rate increases for all.
The National policy Institute, 'estimated that the total cost of mass deportation would be between $206 and $230 billion or an average cost of between $41 and $46 billion annually over a five year period.' Deportations would SAVE the US economy $92.3 BILLION a year! Mass deportations have been done in the US before in order to protect the jobs of Americans. For the year 2006 illegal immigrants sent home $45 BILLION in remittances to their countries of origin. This is money LEAVING the US economy from people who falsely claim to be so poor they cannot afford basic living expenses making the total cost to tax-payers and our economy $383.3 BILLION a YEAR! Mexico admits that the money sent out of the US economy into theirs is the SECOND highest source of their country’s income! This is why Mexico has a vested interest in continuing illegal immigration, has openly become involved in lawsuits against the US, and should have financial consequences imposed by the US Federal Government. Mexican schools have begun teaching English so detection in this country will be more difficult. Mexico also prints out nationally distributed information teaching their citizens how to safely come to the US ILLEGALLY. Illegal immigrants have networks established to produce multiple fake ID’s, car registration, insurance, and more in order to hide their illegal activity. Mexico is currently politically active in controlling US policy including encouraging their citizens to illegally vote in the US! Even more outrageous is the involvement in the politically active group ACORN, which is being funded by people from Mexico, Columbia, and Brazil and is now in charge of the US census! Take a look at their website under “immigration” and see for yourself where their offices are located.
What can YOU do?
1. Write your state and federal representatives and DEMAND deportations, financial sanctions against Mexico for their part in this crisis, the restoration of bounties paid to citizens to turn in criminals, the elimination of race-based incentives, and do NOT vote for anyone who does NOT meet this demand.
2 FLAG any ad for jobs that require Spanish-speaking employees, take back OUR jobs! Notice jobs are not just those Americans are unwilling to do, they include insurance companies, medical companies, banks, and every industry! The Dallas Independent School District has openly fired American teachers and replaced them with teachers provided with fake Social Security Numbers so they can work illegally in this country with NO penalties from the state or federal governments!
3. Boycott any company advertising in the US in Spanish only. Take back OUR country!
Pilgram’s Pride Chicken had to file bankruptcy after a raid showed their facilities in Cactus Texas had intentionally set up an entire town of illegals for their benefit! I for one will NEVER buy another Pilgram’s Pride Chicken and haven’t since! The same goes for Coca Cola that has begun placing Spanish only billboards along major US highways. Can you live forever without a Coke? I certainly can!

A Navy Admiral is reflecting on the sacrifice of airmen given the mission of destroying a group of heavily defended bridges during the Korean War. The men were successful, but at the cost of their lives, leading the Admiral to famously ask: "Where do we get these men?"
Today, the question is "Where do we get these men and women?" and last week, the answer was Killeen, Texas. Answer: Killeen, Texas Killeen is the home of heroes this Veterans Day; men and women who prove that our servicemen and women don't leave their bravery and selflessness behind on the battlefield.
Killeen was also the site of terrorism last week; proof that we are not immune from Islamic extremism inside our borders, even on our military bases. Killeen is the home of Sgt. Kimberly Munley, a Department of Defense civilian police officer and an Army veteran.
Sgt. Munley was nearby getting her car tuned-up when the 911 call came in. Without waiting for backup, she was the first law enforcement official to arrive on the scene at Fort Hood.
"She Fired Until He Dropped. The Killing Ended." Much has been written about Sgt. Munley's heroism, but few have described her behavior in the heat of a confrontation with the Fort Hood shooter better than the editorial writers at the Las Vegas Review-Sun.

This Veterans Day
week also marks the celebration of another set of American heroes: The men and women who put their shoulders to the Berlin Wall and pushed - until it finally fell 20 years ago this Monday.
Where did we get these men and women? From all across America and everywhere freedom and human dignity are valued.
For although the revolution in Eastern Europe occurred without a shot being fired, countless Americans - not to mention Britons, Germans, Poles, Czechs, Slovaks and Hungarians - sacrificed for that day.
Before there was a wall in Berlin, there was the Berlin blockade in 1948, when the Communist regime in Moscow tried to literally starve West Berlin to death. President Harry S. Truman ordered an airlift to feed West Berliners and resist Soviet aggression. Seventy-one American and British servicemen lost their lives.
And before there was a victory for freedom, 20 years ago this week, there were unflinching advocates for freedom in Eastern Europe like Ronald Reagan and Pope John Paul II.
These are the heroes we honor today. Washington Seems More at Home with International Dictators Than America and Its Heroes "Hero" is not a word we use a lot these days. We have a media dedicated to destroying, not showcasing, greatness. We have popular culture determined to celebrate victimhood rather than heroism. And we have a regime in Washington that seems more at home with international autocrats and dictators than America and its heroes.
But the inescapable fact of America is this: Ours is a country founded and defended, not by conciliation and sophisticated diplomatic gestures, but by honor, bravery and sacrifice.
Our heroes are not incidental to our nationhood but an essential part of it. Why? Because America is not, contrary to what our President believes, merely a nation among nations. We are, on our best days, closer to what Ronald Reagan believed: A shining city on a hill. Take the Time Today to Thank a Veteran For His Service The heroes of our city on a hill stretch back from Killeen, Texas, through a bloody 20th Century and a great Civil War, all the way to our founding.
They are the men who left a trail of blood in the snow of Northern Pennsylvania on Christmas night, 1776.
They are the men and women who serve today in Iraq and Afghanistan.
So make sure you take the time today to thank a veteran for his or her service. Take the time to remember and honor a hero.
Because in doing so you are answering the Navy Admiral's question at Toko Ri.
Where do we get these men and women? From a nation that remains worthy of their sacrifice.

While I've little interest in getting in the middle of the Obama birth issue, Paul Hollrah over at UTFSM did so yesterday and believes the issue can be resolved by Obama answering one simple question:
What passport did he use when he was shuttling between New York , Jakarta , and Karachi ?
So how did a young man who arrived in New York in early June 1981, without the price of a hotel room in his pocket, suddenly come up with the price of a round-the-world trip just a month later?
And once he was on a plane, shuttling between New York , Jakarta , and Karachi , what passport was he offering when he passed through Customs and Immigration?
The American people not only deserve to have answers to these questions, they must have answers. It makes the debate over Obama's citizenship a rather short and simple one.
Q: Did he travel to Pakistan in 1981, at age 20?
A: Yes, by his own admission.
Q: What passport did he travel under?
A: There are only three possibilities
1) He traveled with a U.S. Passport,
2) He traveled with a British passport, or
3) He traveled with an Indonesia passport.
Q: Is it possible that Obama traveled with a U.S. Passport in 1981?
A: No. It is not possible. Pakistan was on the U.S. State Department's "no travel" list in 1981.
Conclusion: When Obama went to Pakistan in 1981 he was traveling either with a British passport or an Indonesian passport.
If he were traveling with a British passport that would provide proof he was born in Kenya on August 4, 1961, not inHawaii as he claims. And if he were traveling with an Indonesian passport that would tend to prove he relinquished whatever previous citizenship he held, British or American, prior to being adopted by his Indonesian step-father in 1967.
Whatever the truth of the matter, the American people need to know how he managed to become a "natural born" American citizen between 1981 and 2008.
Given the destructive nature of his plans for America, as illustrated by his speech before Congress and the disastrous spending plan he has presented to Congress, the sooner we learn the truth of all this, the better.
If you don't care if YOUR President is not a natural born Citizen, perjured himself in his presidential application, and in violation of the Constitution, then delete this and go into your cocoon. If you do care, then forward this to others!

House Leadership Sides with Congressional Hispanic Caucus on Health Care Bill, Passes Bill With Illegal Alien Coverage Loophole
Last week, the latest House health care bill (H.R. 3962) raised a number of concerns over the direction the bill was taking with respect to immigration policy. Earlier this summer, FAIR had raised concerns over the language of the bill with respect to Section 342(d), which would waive the current 5-year waiting period before legal aliens can access the affordability credits under the bill. (See FAIR’s Cost Analysis). FAIR also led the national debate over the loopholes that existed in the earlier House bill, H.R. 3200, that would allow illegal aliens to access the benefits under the bill. (See FAIR’s Legislative Analysis of H.R. 3200 and FAIR’s Legislative Update, August 17, 2009).
As detailed in a new analysis by FAIR, the latest House bill contains many of the same problems as the earlier bill. (FAIR’s Legislative Analysis of H.R. 3962). Section 342(d) of the new House health care bill contains identical language to the earlier bill and waives the 5-year waiting period. In addition, FAIR’s new analysis explains how the verification process in the new bill is so flawed that illegal aliens will still be able to fraudulently claim benefits under the bill.
These flaws in the bill prompted FAIR’s President Dan Stein to state: “If powerful special interests prevail, the final version of a health care reform bill will have been used to transform immigration policies as aggressively as it was used to transform the U.S. health care system itself." (FAIR’s Press Release, November 4, 2009). When the full implications of these provisions in the House bill came to light, several Members of Congress agreed to file amendments with the House Rules Committee in an effort to have the House consider amendments on the floor to correct the immigration problems with the bill. True immigration reformers Reps. Nathan Deal (R-GA), Joe Wilson (R-SC) and Dean Heller (R-NV) filed an amendment with the Committee to ensure that the bill maintained the current 5-year waiting period. Additionally, the Deal-Wilson-Heller amendment sought to reform the bill to include a workable verification system that would protect the American taxpayers. In addition, Rep. Steve King filed an amendment to ensure that illegal aliens would be unable to participate in the taxpayer-funded health care exchange to buy discounted health insurance.
FAIR and our thousands of loyal activists pushed House leadership and Members of the Rules Committee to help shepherd these amendments through Committee. FAIR issued an action alert on Thursday, and Dan Stein sent a letter to members of the Rules Committee urging the committee to permit these key amendments a vote on the floor. The Rules Committee began its meeting on Friday afternoon and finished their work after midnight on Saturday morning.
By a vote of 6 to 4, the committee reported the “rule” for the House bill, which established the time for debate and determined which amendments could be considered on the House floor. The rule capitulated to the demands of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus by blocking each of the key immigration amendments supported by FAIR from any consideration on the House floor. (See H.Res. 903). Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC) made a motion to make the Deal-Wilson-Heller amendment in order – which would have guaranteed that the amendment would get an up or down vote on the House floor – but her motion was defeated by a vote of 4 to 6. The motion was defeated on a party line vote with all four Republicans on the committee voting for the motion and six Democrats on the committee – Reps. James McGovern (MA), Alcee Hastings (FL), Dennis Cardoza (CA), Michael Arcuri (NY), Ed Perlmutter (CO), and Jared Polis (CO) – voting against the Foxx motion (Chair Louise Slaughter (NY) did not vote). See Rules Committee Report No. 111-330, Record Vote No. 278 on page 6 of the Report).
On Saturday, the rule was adopted on the House floor by a vote of 242 to 192. (Roll Call Vote 882). The adoption of the rule eliminated any chance that the House would consider any immigration related amendments to the bill. During debate on the bill, Rep. Nathan Deal stated the following: “make no mistake about it, illegal aliens will receive government-funded health care under this because all they are required to show is a Social Security number and a name. There is no way to prevent the same Social Security number from being used by numerous individuals, and there is no requirement that a picture ID be produced in order to prove that the person is in fact the name that appears on the Social Security card. If you think identity theft is a problem now, just wait until this bill passes.” (Congressional Record, November 7, 2009, H12836). The House later passed H.R. 3962 – without any fixes to the immigration problems contained in the bill – by the slimmest of margins: a vote of 220 to 215. (Roll Call Vote 887).

Cars are inherently dangerous with a perfectly sober driver. There are thousands of deaths caused by sober drivers every year.
Marijuana is less intoxicating than alcohol. Marijuana does not impair motor skills or judgement as much as alcohol does. People should abstain from both of these substances, as I do, but prohibition creates more harm than good (in my opinion). You may disagree, and think that prohibition causes more good than harm.
please respond by saying that you "do not want alcohol to be legal" just as you do not want marijuana to be legal, and we will agree to disagree. ...

1. This doctor was too quick to judge my illness and sell me some medicine that has the same effects as what i wanted treated
2. I told my neighbor what was going on with how I felt. He gave me a small bowl of some good pot, he told me to take one hit just to see how I feel in ten minutes. First I took my doctor prescribed medicine and started to feel kinda sick in the stomach and bowel region. Then I took that hit, from the pot my neighbor gave me, and felt great ( not pie eyed, lets eat a cake great). No shaking, no stomach ache and for the first time in 3 days I ate a small meal without throwing up. My lymph nodes or tonsils still hurt but not as much and the show C.S.I. really sucks (C.S.I. does suck, don't get me wrong).

Sen. Reid Blocks Sen. Sessions’ E-Verify Amendment to Unemployment Extension Bill
This past week, undeterred by Congress’ previous failure to permanently extend E-Verify, Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL) again took to the Senate floor to fight for American workers and to protect American jobs. When the Senate took up a bill to extend federal unemployment benefits for 14 weeks, Senator Sessions filed an amendment to permanently extend the E-Verify program – the online, electronically operated system that allows employers to quickly and easily confirm that their new hires are legally authorized to work in the United States and not illegal aliens. (H.R. 3548, September 22, 2009; See S.AMDT.2695, October 20, 2009). The Sessions amendment will ensure that available jobs would go to American citizens and legal immigrants.
Earlier this year, during Senate debate over the Department of Homeland Security annual appropriations bill, Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL) successfully attached an amendment permanently extending E-Verify to the Senate version of the DHS bill. (See FAIR’s Legislative Update, July 13, 2009). Unfortunately, the Sessions amendment was stripped from the final version of the bill by the House-Senate conferees, and the DHS Appropriations bill ultimately authorized E-Verify for only three years. (See FAIR’s Legislative Update, October 19, 2009).
Senator Sessions’ latest amendment sought to accomplish three important job protection and immigration enforcement-related goals, including:
Making E-Verify permanent. (S.AMDT.2695, Sec. 201). As stated above, Congress recently reauthorized E-Verify for only three years. This leaves the program vulnerable to amnesty proponents using a long-term or permanent reauthorization of E-Verify as a bargaining chip to leverage the passage of a mass amnesty for the 12 million illegal aliens living in the United States.
Requiring that individuals who receive unemployment compensation benefits under any state or federal law first have their identity and employment eligibility verified through E-Verify. (Id., Sec. 203). This provision in the Sessions amendment would have helped ensure that illegal aliens would not be able to access taxpayer-subsidized unemployment compensation benefits.
Requiring businesses that contract with the federal government to use E-Verify “to verify the identity and employment eligibility of—(1) all individuals hired during the term of the contract by the contractor to perform employment duties within the United States; and (2) all individuals assigned by the contractor to perform work within the United States…under such contract.” (Id., Sec. 204). The Obama Administration recently – after several delays – implemented a regulation similar to this provision of the Sessions amendment. (See FAIR’s Legislative Update, September 8, 2009). However, the Sessions amendment is necessary because it would have codified the requirement that federal contractors use E-Verify, effectively barring the Obama – or any subsequent – Administration from gutting this provision without Congressional approval.
Unfortunately, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) filed a motion to cut off debate (i.e., invoke cloture) on the unemployment compensation extension bill without first allowing the Senate to vote on the Sessions amendment. The Senate agreed to Reid’s “cloture motion,” effectively stalling any forward momentum on the Sessions amendment. (Roll Call Vote #329, October 27, 2009). The Senate is expected to vote on final passage of the legislation sometime this week. (Congressional Quarterly, October 29, 2009).

This Susan Brager sells homes in the District F which includes Mountain's Edge communities and sells the homes by telling the potential new home buyers, that the Clark County Commissioners, of which she tells the client she is a member of, has approved 11 parks, a few club houses and community pools to motivate buyers.
However, she has failed to inform these buyers that the builder has gone back to the Clark County District Board of which she sits on and has requested a revision to the plans, and she approved it, deleting the requirement of the builder to put together the projects of which she is touting as the future of Mountain's Edge!

During his trip to DC to meet with the Congressional leaders of Nevada, which is a right of all citizens of Nevada to visit their Congressional leaders whether they are in the District of Criminals or back in their perches here in Nevada, Berkeley showed her disgust at Veterans by slamming the door in his face amidst the onlooking staff members of her's in the DC office and right in front of the group of personnel of which Steve Samson was with promoting and disgusting Veterans issues.
Berkeley has been lying for years, that the new VA hospital in Las Vegas is funded when an Freedom of Information Act request made to the VA here in Southern Nevada shows no such funded facility. This person, Berkeley tries to show that she has empathy for the Veterans in Nevada and subsequently nationwide, but her slamming the door in the face of the 12 year Marine Veteran, Steve Samson, revealed her true colors to the dismay of the Congresswoman's staffers and the Veterans group attempting to talk to her!!!

With more than 174,000 registered voting Independents the Republican Party would be assured of voting in Conservatives, but their ego is preventing them taking actions that will ultimately ruin the GOP in Nevada. Because of their inability to work in full faith with the IAP, the Democratic Party in Nevada has offered to pay for the campaigns of all Independents to ensure the demise of the GOP in 2010.
Looks like it might work, unless the GOP works in full faith with the more conservative IAP of Nevada.
Sanson and several other Las Vegas area veterans, including retired Air Force Col. Ed Bridges, were making the rounds of Nevada’s Congressional delegation when the incident occurred.
Bridges, a candidate for the Congressional Seat 3 seat now held by Rep. Dina Titus, D-Las Vegas, said the group was warmly greeted by Titus and other members of the Nevada delegation.
But Sanson, a constituent who had gone to visit Berkley in her Capitol Hill office with part of the Las Vegas group, said the treatment there was much different. While in her outer office, Sanson said Berkley came out and refused to speak or make eye contact with him, speaking instead to Terri Dunn, president of Republican Women of Henderson, who was also on the trip.
When Sanson said he brought up the subject of the veterans hospital, Berkley commented that he should have been “civil enough” to speak with her in Las Vegas. Sanson said she then suggested he make an appointment to meet with her in Las Vegas.
When Sanson said he asked about making such an appointment, Berkley replied, “I think not,” and slammed her private office door behind her, leaving Sanson and others standing in the outer office.
Efforts to reach Berkley’s staff for comment on the incident were unsuccessful.
Sanson said the animosity may stem from the fact that a group he is affiliated with, Veterans in Politics, had endorsed her GOP opponent in a previous reelection bid. Sanson said he has never been uncivil to Berkley.
Sanson said he was visiting today on issues as a representative of Vets for Freedom, and that Berkley’s behavior was inappropriate.
“I feel that she acted immature,” he said. “She didn’t act like a representative of the public.”
A spokesperson for Congresswoman Berkley declined to comment on the incident.
The Washington Times just reported "a move seems to be afoot" in the Senate to allow a debate and full Senate vote on whether President Obama's Anti-Jesus Judge David Hamilton should be confirmed to the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. You may remember him as the Judge who ruled it's illegal to pray "in Jesus name" but totally legal to pray to Allah on the floor of the Indiana Legislature. His foolish ruling in Hinrichs v. Bosma was overturned (thanks in part to our legal aid to the Indiana Attorney General). He also ruled to hasten the abortion of unborn children, but that bad ruling was also overturned. Now Obama wants to reward Hamilton's anti-life anti-Jesus prejudice with promotion to the same appeals court that overruled him.
On Thursday, Senator Harry Reid's (D-NV) staff confirmed that Hamilton is "on the calendar" A VOTE IS POSSIBLE THE WEEK OF THE 9TH. So please auto-fax all 100 Senators to filibuster Hamilton. Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL) wrote a letter to all Republicans on 30 Oct, asking for help in opposing Hamilton, who the Seventh Circuit Court rebuked for repeatedly "abusing his discretion," and for a speech Hamilton gave saying the judge's primary job is "write footnotes in the Constitution" for his own activist causes. To support Sessions and Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK) who called for a filibuster, back in April & May 2009 we sent nearly 700,000 fax petitions to the full Senate against Hamilton, and we successfully persuaded all Republicans to unite against Hamilton, earning all 7 minority votes to block him in the Judiciary Committee. But all 12 committee majority Democrats voted against Jesus-prayers, and so forwarded Hamilton to the full Senate, where his nomination sat quietly without action for seven months, until now...

Conflict of interest, look at what she did to the Mountains Edge community; she approved the growth of this community by approving several parks, schools, businesses and when the developer went back to revise the project, she supported their entire agenda of deleting more than 11 parks, the schools, and businesses!
Yet this Susan Brager continues to sell homes in the Mountains Edge community and touting the previously approved development to potential buyers, knowing full well, that the project is dead and that she personally approved the building a two parks versus 11 and the approval of the community centers to be downsized and the community pools to be removed from the development.
All the buyers in the Mountains Edge community is being screwed over by the Susan Brager and because of her lies will be voted against in the 2010 elections and an Independent will run and win!!!
The Independent has no ties to the real estate market and is not compromising theirselves in this race. In addition, since the Independent is also a home owner in the district F, he will ensure that the community is built versus Susan Brager's lies!!
This does not take in consideration those who have given up searching for jobs, but only those who are currently receiving unemployment benefits, which would take this figure to more than 16% and the State of Nevada is reeling at more than 16.8% collecting benefits, and if the same rationale holds, the actual figures would be nearly 20% unemployed in Nevada!!

As far as Metro goes, and to those police officers who are good, honest people with a sincere heart out here trying to help people...and actually looking for criminals who would harm us...kudos to you...but I would like to find out if we just have rogue officers on the street doing their own will, or do we have Metro at a higher up making policies that subject our citizens to rights violations...either way, we need to go after the bad apples in the police departments while at the same commending those officers who are doing the right thing.
I would like to find out if Metro has a hand book, training classes, memo, etc., that is telling its officers to do things that are in direct contradiction to the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

I was having a town hall type conversation last night and most people in our district said that when they were going down charleston or Fremont street, their first thought of fear was from Las Vegas Metro and not thieves or anyone else. Second, was the prostitutes, but that didnt scare them...but thats awful when the police are the number 1 thought over prostitutes when thinking of Fremont Street and Charleston.
Actually, just plain pathetic and "police state" came to the conversation several times.
Crime statistics doesnt warrant this police state. Nevada in general when speaking of viloent crime comes right in the middle of the pack with other states...with Colorado on one side of us and Oklahoma on the other...so that tells me all the hype about Las Vegas is way way out of shape and there is no need for all this police.

Government agencies have tort limits- if you sue the LVMPD, the most you can get is $50,000, I believe is the current limit. But really, is that fair if the father of a family of 4 is accidentally shot by a cop, and is profoundly disabled as a result? I don't think so. Also, the Bush administration commissioned a study to quantify exactly how much money would actually be saved with tort limits- they came up with about .5% of the total health care expenditure. I don't believe this will have a great effect on health insurance reform.

Most people do not have bargaining power with their doctors because their insurance pays the majority of medical expenses. Do you self insure? I don't! Insurance companies already drive hard bargains with doctors, because the profit motive on the part of insurance companies is there to do so. What you suggest is to add more overhead on doctors and hospitals! And do you think you'd have time to let your fingers do the walking when your loved one needs immediate life-saving care? This is an ill-conceived talking point that does not "math out" as they say.

You mention that medicare only pays for half, and everybody else picks up the remainder in their premiums. Ok, so push that argument to the left, and it is fully funded by the government, and you pay for it in your taxes. Push the argument to the right, and medicare is gone, and either the expensive care needed by the elderly is now in our insurance pool, and our rates skyrocket, or old people are uninsurable, and you now have to pay out of pocket 100% of grandma's care. This is not a solution, it is more like rhetoric.
You left out the solution to the problem of pre-existing conditions, or do you think that that practice is just fine?
What about the millions of uninsured that present at hospitals and receive indigent care, which A: is ridiculously expensive at the emergency room. B: in many instances preventable with uh... preventive care. and C: is already paid for by you and me, in our premiums.
