with regard to the state of NEVADA i'll share with you something that happened to me earlier this year at DMV. i requested an application to get a veteran license plate and was informed that if i didn't retire out of the military that i was not eligible.

WHAT THE FUCK DOES DOING YOUR 20 HAVE TO DO WITH BEING A VETERAN? most assholes that do their 20 in the military have never seen a day of combat nor have they ever been shot at, but in this state only they have the right to bear a "veteran" license plate? that's a decision by our state that's just as idiotic as half the shit they come up with in the military. if you've served this country you know what i'm talking about. i was there at the DMV as a civilian. an active duty airforce guy was in line in front of me and the lady he saw told him the same thing. he questioned it and then just shook his head like, "ok whatever" and walked off. ME? i was in disbelief and i even told the lady that most retirees have never seen a day of combat in their lives and yet you'll deny it to the very people that actually fought for this country? we talked about it and even the airforce guy was puzzled by it.

don't get me wrong when it comes to support personell. they have a big job and a critical job at that, but at least they aren't being shot at.

its probably just as well anyway. my veteran status never helped me get a foot in the door much less a job. if anything i remember being denied a job once because i was reservist just before operation desert storm because the manager didn't want to train me only to have me called off to war. this was in 1990 at the BLOCKBUSTER VIDEO store in west lancaster at 30th street west and avenue L. i was fresh out of bootcamp at the time and had just gotten home waiting for my command to call me up for the 1st gulf war. CIVILIAN GRATITUDE AT ITS BEST!

even then i think my chances for scoring a job were better if i painted my face brown, died my blonde hair black, and stated, "NO ENGLESH". my chances for a job would have better.

In a move certain to fuel the debate over Obama's qualifications for the presidency, the group

"Americans for Freedom of Information" has released copies of President Obama's college transcripts

from Occidental College .

Released today, the transcript indicates that Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro,

received financial aid as a foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate at the school.



The transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance with a court order in a suit brought
by the group in the Superior Court of California .



The transcript shows that Obama (Soetoro) applied for financial aid and was awarded a
fellowship for foreign students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program.

To qualify, for the scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship.

This document would seem to provide the smoking gun that many of Obama's detractors have been seeking.



Along with the evidence that he was first born in Kenya and there is no record of him ever applying for US
citizenship, this is looking pretty grim.



The news has created a firestorm at the White House as the release casts increasing doubt about
Obama's legitimacy and qualification to serve as president.



When reached for comment in London , where he has been in meetings with British Prime
Minister Gordon Brown, Obama smiled but refused comment on the issue.

Britain 's Daily Mail has also carried the story in a front-page article titled, "Obama Eligibility Questioned,"

leading some to speculate that the story may overshadow economic issues on Obama's first official visit
to the U.K.

In a related matter, under growing pressure from several groups, Justice Antonin Scalia announced

that the Supreme Court agreed on Tuesday to hear arguments concerning Obama's legal eligibility to serve as
President in a case brought by Leo Donofrio of New Jersey .

This lawsuit claims Obama's dual citizenship disqualified him from serving as president.

Donofrio's case is just one of 18 suits brought by citizens demanding proof of Obama's citizenship or qualifications to
serve as president.

Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation has released the results of their investigation of

Obama's campaign spending.



This study estimates that Obama has spent upwards of $950,000 in campaign funds in the past year with eleven law firms in 12 states for legal resources to block disclosure of any of his personal records.

Mr. Kreep indicated that the investigation is still on-going but that the final report will be provided to the

U.S. attorney general, Eric Holder.
Mr. Holder has refused to comment on the matter.

And, when I say "Nevada" veteran, I am talking about those veterans who's "home of record" is in the State of Nevada, while they serve(d) on active duty.

So, when a Nevada veteran needs the services of a "veteran's" nursing home, in Nevada, paid for with Nevada tax dollars, he/she must wait in line behind a California (who make up 90% of the veterans living here) veteran for that bed; and, when they die on active duty or later in life, their families must also wait in line to get a gravesite. Our heroes in Carson City will not reserve a bed or a gravesite for any Nevada veteran.

Nevada veterans do not get extra points in civil service exams, point reductions for home purchases, deductions on college educations for themselves or their families like Califonria veterans get, nor do Nevada veterans get any of the tax breaks that Nevada gives to "all" veterans who live here.

Nevada veterans are bastard-children of the State of Nevada. The Nevada legislature took "our" rights as veterans away from us during the nViet-Nam war.

When I came home to Nevada from my military service, I paid for my own college education because affirmative action denied me the use of my GI Bill.

When I applied for and got a State job here, with a college education, I was offered a job, unbeknownst to me, at $5,000 below what my peers were being paid, because, later, I was told, that I was a double-dipper. Because I also collected a VA compensation for being wounded in Viet-Nam.

When you hear/read about the Veteran's Memorial planned to be built in LV with "your" money. Remember, it will not be for "Nevada" veterans.

I thank all veterans today and always for their military service.

But, to fuck-in-the-ass every Nevada veteran, by our Governor (an Air Force veteran) and our legislature, is more then wrong.

For those who disagree with my thoughts, go fuck yourself.

I am not proud of my military service. Why? Because you are not proud of mine.

To the 99.5% of those Americans who have never served their country and to all people, veteran or not, who have stolen the valor of all Nevada veterans, BITE OUR COLLECTIVE ASS!

I'm sooo freaking tired
I'm tired of all the uninformed people supporting the president, the president who has done NOTHING for us at all.
I'm tired of the people who REALLY think the "health care bill" is going to do us any good.
I'm tired white trash people who talk all the crap on this site, and actually thinking anyone gives a crap.
I'm tired of nearly every black person out there, mainly because they THINK we owe them for everything. (so far as I'm concerned, you'd still be slaves. You'd be better off, and so would we.)
I'm tired of every mexican on the planet. They don't need to be anywhere. Not even Mexico. Removal of a race would be a good idea when it comes to them.
I'm tired of all the bleeding hearts that want to HELP everyone with everyone elses money except their own, because they don't have any to begin with..
I'm tired of all the people who come on this board with about 5 minutes of actual information about all the above statements and think they're an expert.
I'm tired of the same people on CL everyday posting the same garbage that everyone but a few are totally sick of, but continue to do so only to irritate people. But never have to true courage to stand up and do and say the same things in PUBLIC.. And before anyone says it, I do say these things in public. And before any of the "tough guys" say it, yes, I'd say it to your worthless faces too, ON MY TERMS.. I'm not stupid enough to play by your ghetto rules.
