working on contract as a tournament reporter in Las Vegas for
duration of 2008 World Series of Poker.
Job duties will include:
- Providing frequent updates of tournament action.
- Providing chip counts of leaders and notable players.
- Build and maintain relationships with Las Vegas casinos/poker
rooms
- Hand-for-hand accounts of poker hands.
- Act as representative for site to players, spectators, and
staff
- Written tournament summary for each day�s play.
- Taking photographs of players for archival and publication.
- Conducting/transcribing player interviews.
- Use of blog software admin for tournament updates. (Training

Plans, writes, edits, and proofreads documents ranging from simple to complex. Plans formats of documents, organizes content, edits text and graphics, and prepares instructions for reproduction. Works on-line as required.
Reviews document requirements (including schedule) with customers and then recommends and coordinates word processing, graphic design, reproduction support, and any additional editorial support.
Edits and/or rewrites draft documents. Ensures that the material is structured and formatted logically and resolves inconsistencies. May review work of other technical editing staff members.
Produce completed information products in traditional (hardcopy) or electronic formats. Works online as required.
Monitors job progress and alerts responsible supervisor when schedules appear to be in jeopardy.
Maintains document and resource files.
Assists other technical editing staff, as required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE Basic:
High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years of related experience; or a Bachelors Degree in English, Journalism, or Communications, plus one year of experience.
Minimum:
Technical writing and editing skills normally acquired through specialized education/training.
Thorough knowledge of grammatical rules, spelling, composition, and style.
Ability to apply appropriate level of edit based on considerations such as customer expectations, audience, visibility, and corporate standards.
Basic vocabulary of the technical disciplines.
Proficiency with standard document formatting/editing/production software, including electronic comment incorporation, importing graphic files, formatting tables, and developing and applying templates.

• Continue to develop and refine existing content for core training programs.
• Work with vendors and partners to develop continuing education content, delivery mechanisms and assessments.
• Work closely with call center teams and market support to create and deliver training to address any knowledge gaps.
• Assist with the documentation and development of processes as training gaps are identified or new processes need to be developed, documented and trained.
• Assist with the content management for call center Intranet sites.
• Be able to manage groups of at least 25 during a training session.
Minimum Qualifications (include skills, experience and education):
- 4-6 Years minimum experience in curriculum development and training facilitation in different areas: i.e. sales, customer services, etc.
- Prior Training MANAGER experience
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Must have solid knowledge of Microsoft Office
products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
