Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Property Manager to oversee a vast portfolio of properties and ensure operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing commercial properties, must be proficient with AppFolio, and demonstrate outstanding communication and problem-solving skills.
This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage tenant relations, vendor partnerships, and property performance, while supporting ownership’s long-term goals.
Commercial Property Management Experience is Required.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the entire portfolio including collections, cam reconciliations, critical lease tracking, capex reporting, etc.
Manage tenant relations, including lease administration, renewals, and addressing inquiries or concerns.
Coordinate property maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects.
Monitor and manage budgets, financial reporting, and expense control.
Utilize AppFolio for property management, accounting, and reporting functions.
Obtain bids and contracts from vendors and ensure compliance with service agreements.
Conduct and coordinate regular property inspections with maintenance staff to ensure safety, compliance, and proper upkeep.
Provide ownership with timely updates, reports, and recommendations.
Resolve conflicts or issues efficiently while maintaining positive relationships.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Commercial Property Manager (minimum 7 years preferred).
Proficiency in AppFolio property management software (required).
Strong understanding of commercial leases, tenant improvements, and property operations.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Demonstrated problem-solving ability and proactive approach.
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits
$70,000 – $90,000 per year salary, depending on experience and qualifications.
