72 year old vintage / antique sewing machine for sale. It was manufactured in 1954 and is a Kenmore Model 117.552 by Sears & Roebuck & Co. (Originally made by White Sewing)
We bought this from a lady in town about 3 years ago, her mother was the original owner of it. It was in somewhat ok shape when we bought it, but was nowhere near being something you could actually use. We cleaned it up, lubed and oiled it, replaced all the rubber wheels and even installed a new power cord. We went through the whole machine threaded it up and calibrated and my wife even used it to sew a few things. Everything works including the light and foot pedal. Comes with extra bobbins and a few other various parts.
It has all the manufacturing and serial number plates still installed on the machine as well as in the cabinet. The motor runs strong and it works very well.
The only thing we did with the cabinet was wipe it down, we didnt do any restoration there as it really isnt in that bad of shape. Everything works well on it and the door swings open fine and closes flush.
Asking $175.00 OBO , but will entertain any reasonable offers.
We are rearranging her sewing room and just no longer have space for it amongst all the other things in there.
NEED GONE ASAP!
Can not deliver, but I can help you load it up when you get here.
