This ongoing workshop is designed to combat against violence inflicted upon women by providing practical skill sets, strategies, and tactics to empower women to defend themselves. It is not a "martial arts class" or a one-time seminar, but a respectful, nurturing and active hands-on ongoing workshop that teaches straight-to-the-point training in dealing with the most common attacks on women based on current National Crime Statistics, especially in Domestic Violence. This includes dealing with stand-up altercations, grabs/chokes, weapons, multiple attackers, psychological aspects to help overcome and heal, and more! (see/ download image above). Lessons designed so that you can learn quickly, upkeep regularly, and apply immediately! All part of a Full Progressive Curriculum with Advanced and Updated Lessons every week. No Experience Necessary.
Plus, there are NO fees, NO hidden costs or any financial "catches". Why? Because, as the statistic quoted above shows, there is a terrible- UNACCEPTABLE- EPIDEMIC of VIOLENCE towards WOMEN! The ability to defend yourself is a skill that should be available to anyone who truly needs it*.
Dress Code: Comfortable workout attire. Indoor non-scuffing mat shoes or barefoot due to hardwood floor.
We also recommend that you bring along a friend as a training partner in between sessions.
