Korean War Parachute - $400

I inherited this from my great uncle among other items.
Please note from the pictures some discoloration on the parachute pack itself. It was stored in a shed sitting on the floor outside Denver CO, and the shed leaked in the rain, so the discoloration is from getting wet. Last checked 21 Feb 1986 as indicated on the placard.
Some pieces of this seatpack may be missing. Uncle Tex probably brought this back with him after Vietnam, where he was a navy aviator. I know nothing about parachutes or jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. Please check this with a rigger before using. Would make a great collector's piece. Actual item shown. Sold as is. No returns.
