"Barn Find" 1952 Willy's M38A1 4x4 .. all original and overall good condition .. absolutely zero cancer rust at all, very little surface rust in few spots .. very clean with a couple small battle wounds (dents) but underneath is clean .. I believe it maybe an old shore patrol/MP Willy's (?) or Commanders with the siren and lights on roll bar .. original 4 cylinder motor with the 12 volt conversion... only 8,375 total documented miles.. vin 61792 .. clean title in hand ... took out non original seats but original seat frames are there still attached to old seats ( I have 1 front seat cushion as well as rear seat cushion as seen in picture) .. siren works good and loud sounds like a air-raid warning siren .. no glass in windshield it's plexiglass .. motor is clean and ** runs and drives ** there is a knock in the motor, but starts right up. It's 66 years old with history but probably needs more attention than I know how to give, meaning a deeper tune up and going through. A mechanic friend over the phone says it sounds like bad fuel still in system. I have not gotten it professionally evaluated yet but I siphoned old gas out of tank, put in new spark plugs, oil change, new fuel filter, new coil and cleaned the carb .. it was real easy to work on, it's all right there, unobstructed as designed to be quickly repaired in the battle field .. The part in last Jeep picture is tail and stop light for drivers rear (plus whatever's attached to top, maybe backup light?).. message me for more details .. asking $5000 or best or trade for ?? ***Also have a 1974 K-5 full convertible blazer 4x4 .. ** runs and drives ** .. asking $7,000 have clean titles in hand for both
