This car is absolutely gorgeous - convertible, pearl white paint with the fabulous saddle color leather interior (which is quite rare in this car). It has only been driven about 3800 miles/year, and the owner of the car for the past 20 years was super diligent ("anal"....) about over-servicing this car (I can't think of another way to describe it).

The timing belt, and all the belts, were changed around 70K miles, along with all the fluids, and many other parts that probably didn't need it - but the owner was obviously going to keep the car in perfect shape for the rest of his life.

The saddle leather interior lasts much better than the black or white interiors - and in this car, the saddle leather is almost showroom new (as you can see in the photos). Everything in this car works perfectly, and shows no wear and tear. The carpets and floor mats look like they've never had any use. Ice cold AC; the little doors on the dash that go up and down are all in perfect working order; antenna is in perfect shape; tires and brakes and in excellent shape (but I don't know how old the tires are - LOL).

I have had many of the SC430s, and also the second generation Lexus convertible (IS250c), and I love them both and have been driving the IS250c for about five years - but have really wanted to come back to the SC430 roadster. It's just the best convertible that's ever been made (in my opinion).

I usually check the insurance auctions to see what's available because I want low miles and the best colors, etc. I found two of the SC430s and bought them both - just to make sure I'd have one of the best remaining SC430s available. They are both such nice cars and neither had little or no damage, that I can't decide which one I want to keep. They are both fabulous cars - both have the saddle leather interior, and two of the best paint colors that go with that color interior. My other SC430 is a pearl sand color (and shows on the same CL page and it only has 41K miles, @ $22,500). So pick one and I'll keep the other one!

So, this car was purchased from an insurance auction and appears to have no damage - except some paint scuffs and scratches, and the rear seat was a touch spotted like it had gotten wet from a spill or from rain. So I had all the damaged paint re-painted, but most of the car is original paint. All insurance cars end up with a restored title because they go into the insurance company's name in order to be put into the insurance auction. All insurance cars then have to pass a
Level III inspection by the police in order to be restored and registered. I only used quality leather cleaner and conditioner on the back seat - and, as you can see in the photos, the leather is perfect. Emissions good for 2 years.

I put a very low price on this car, considering the condition and quality of the car - you would normally see this car selling for over $20K, but I can only drive one car so one has to go. Nothing showed up in the CarFax about any damage to this car. So if you are interested feel free to contact me with your email and I will be glad to send you the CarFax, which shows the amazing service and upkeep this car has had for 20 years.

This convertible was sold starting in 2002 and the price back then was over $60K - the engine runs 300-400K miles. So if you've ever wanted to have one of the best remaining SC430s, with low miles, in excellent shape - here's your chance!

Please CALL or TEXT only - as I WON'T ANSWER you if you inquire using the CL email address.
