I'm offering a Vintage1997 Gemini, CD-9500 PROII, Dual CD Player, that needs to be Repaired. It Powers Up, the Lights come on, the Displays illuminate, but both CD Trays will only open intermediately. At first, they didn't open at all. My guess was that the Unit was Transported without the the Discs being removed, and they had shifted, preventing the Trays from functioning. I opened it up, and there was nothing jamming the Trays. I cleaned around the Openings, and the Tray Slides, and they functioned a little better, but were still a little erratic. When the Drawers did close all the way containing a CD, They would engage and begin Spinning. I stopped the testing there, because I had reached the end of my capabilities. There might be some adjustments that can be preformed to remedy these issues, but I can't be sure. Also, the Pitch Control Knob is missing off of the Left Hand Side, or the Player Marked CD 1. I'M NOT SURE IF THERE ARE OTHER ISSUES, AS NO OTHER TESTS HAVE BEEN PERFORMED! This includes the Cables visible in my Photos, along with the SBK 4 Space ROTO RACK, Hard Transportation Case, that it's mounted in.
