The Vegas Cantina, Las Vegas' newest Mexican hotspot, is officially open and serving guests daily! We’re hiring an experienced graveyard cook to join our team as we launch our gaming machines live on October 3rd. Once gaming goes live, The Cantina will be open 24 hours a day—and we need the right cook to keep the food flowing going during our 2 AM – 10 AM shifts.
🔥 The Cantina – We are looking for a talented line cook to join our kitchen team! If you have a passion for authentic Mexican flavors and take pride in your craft, we want to hear from you!
What We’re Looking For:
✔️ Experience: At least 2 years in a fast-paced kitchen, preferably with Mexican cuisine.
✔️ Skills: Strong cooking, prep, grilling, and plating skills with attention to detail.
✔️ Speed & Efficiency: Ability to handle high-volume service while maintaining quality.
✔️ Team Player: Works well with others, respectful and is willing to train new hires as we grow.
✔️ Clean & Organized: Follows health and safety guidelines at all times.
✔️Language: English speaking is required. Spanish speaking is a plus.
✔️ Health Card and TAM are required. Serv Safe card is ideal.
Duties:
Kitchen
Assist with all kitchen duties as needed
Prepare and portion food
Deep clean the kitchen every two weeks
Cleaning & Maintenance
Clean front of house (FOH) areas after guests when needed
Clean and maintain the bar (front and behind)
Clean bathrooms and restock supplies as needed
Clean outdoor patio area, including removing debris
Refill ice in the bar area
Set up and maintain red bucket sanitizer stations
Guest Service & Support
Clear bus tubs and steps when needed
Run food to guests when requested
Organize stools and bar chairs
Provide water to guests when the bartender is busy
Seat guests if the bartender is unavailable
