We are a fast-growing and client-focused law firm seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Case Manager who can also perform administrative duties and support litigation attorneys. We handle a high volume of cases and need someone who is dependable, professional, and able to manage responsibilities with urgency and accuracy.
Position Summary
The Case Manager / Administrative Assistant will oversee day-to-day case management, support attorneys through both pre-litigation and litigation phases, and assist with administrative tasks to ensure smooth firm operations. The ideal candidate has prior experience in a law office, understands litigation processes, and can communicate effectively with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel.
Key Responsibilities
Manage assigned caseload from intake through settlement or litigation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case notes, records, and deadlines.
Communicate professionally with clients, adjusters, medical providers, and attorneys.
Draft letters, requests, demand packets, and basic litigation documents.
Assist with discovery, document management, calendaring, and trial preparation.
Open and follow up on insurance claims and medical records requests.
Prepare settlement statements, disbursements, and closing documents.
Perform general administrative duties, including scheduling, filing, scanning, and assisting with firm workflow.
Qualifications
Experience in litigation or legal case management (required).
Strong understanding of personal injury, claims handling, or civil litigation preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail, organization, and time-management.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Professional, reliable, and comfortable dealing with clients.
Experience with case management software (Filevine, Needles, SmartAdvocate, or similar) is a plus.
Bilingual (English/Korean or English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
