IWC Aquatimer IW353602, Stainless Steel 2000m Case, 42 mm.
The watch runs on IWC 37524 caliber, a highly modified ETA 2892 21 jewels movement, adjusted in 5 positions.
I read that many ETA 2892 parts were replaced by IWC with their own and that the movement is supposed to have a solid 21K gold rotor!
I have opened the case and the rotor looks like yellow gold but it is not stamped this way. The rest of the movement is gilded, as you can see. The case and bracelet are in good condition.
The case was rated to 2000 meters depth and has a screw back cover and screw in crown.
The sapphire crystal has a couple of tiny scratches. These are between center pinion and 7 o'clock and 8 o'clock.
The matte black dial is of an earlier variant using tritium and printed to that effect T SWISS MADE T.
Date aperture at 3 o’clock. Uni directional bezel. The bracelet will fit a 7.35 inch wrist presently.
This offer is only available to an established Las Vegas resident with a phone number I can Google to ascertain your identity. Will not waste my time with flippers... When contacting me please include your full name. If you want to remain anonymous, please look elsewhere. If you have an interesting watch or a piece of vintage jewelry you want to trade, I may consider it.
I have an additional link which would add another 0.32 inches. It will extend the length to 7.67 inches.
The additional link is available at an extra charge. More links can be purchased on Ebay or from IWC dealer.
Those are 18mm wide.
This watch was sent to IWC for service in Nov. 2023 and I received it back at end of January 2024.
I requested to keep the original dial and the hands. The crown was replaced with their new version.
The service had a cost of $550!
The watch runs within a few seconds per 24 hours. This is a highly desirable model and from what I have read much rarer in stainless steel than in titanium!! It comes with an IWC box.
