Overview:
A private family in Las Vegas is seeking a reliable, hands-on Handyman / Household Support Person to help maintain a small portfolio of properties and assist with light personal tasks. The ideal candidate is practical, handy, and proactive, with strong troubleshooting skills, light construction knowledge, and the ability to coordinate vendors when needed. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, solving problems, and keeping things running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Property & Household Maintenance:
Perform light repairs and upkeep (painting touch-ups, changing light fixtures, patchwork, minor plumbing/electrical troubleshooting).
Conduct regular walk-throughs of residential and commercial spaces to check lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and overall condition.
Be available for occasional late-night calls if urgent issues arise in the facilities.
Keep properties organized, safe, and in working order.
Coordinate and oversee contractors for larger projects or specialized repairs.
Support cleaning, tidying, and general maintenance when needed.
Basic Technical Aptitude:
Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general household systems.
Ability to assess small repair needs and handle them directly or bring in appropriate vendors.
Knowledge of tools, materials, and repair processes.
Personal Assistant Support:
Run errands (grocery shopping, dry cleaning, pickups/drop-offs).
Assist with household tasks and organizational projects.
Help schedule and coordinate appointments.
Qualifications:
Hands-on handyman or facilities experience preferred.
Comfortable with basic construction, repairs, and property upkeep.
Strong organizational skills and reliability.
Trustworthy, discreet, and professional.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
Local to Las Vegas and familiar with the area.
Schedule:
Part-time, flexible (20–30 hours per week).
Occasional evenings, weekends, or late-night calls if needed.
Compensation:
$35–$55/hr DOE
Mileage reimbursement for errands and property visits
