About the session. Join a short, in-studio research session designed specifically for adults 65+ to understand how people move in normal, day-to-day situations. The visit lasts approximately 90 minutes and takes place at our local studio in Las Vegas, Nevada. Our moderators will guide you through a series of very simple, low-impact activities while recording video for research purposes only.
At a glance.
What you'll do. After a brief check-in and orientation, a moderator will demonstrate each activity and invite you to try it at a pace that feels right for you. Activities include taking a seat and standing up from a chair, turning your head left and right, and pausing between movements so the camera can capture a clear view. You can request a break at any time. There is no heavy lifting, no stretching beyond your comfort, and no fast or repetitive motions.
Comfort & accessibility. Your comfort is our priority. Chairs with arms, step stools, and grip rails are available. If you use a cane, walker, or other mobility aid, you may keep it with you. Closed-toe shoes are recommended, and we suggest wearing clothing that allows you to move naturally. If any activity feels uncomfortable, simply let the moderator know and we’ll modify or skip it.
Compensation. You’ll receive $90 as a thank-you for completing the session. Payments are issued within 24 hours via digital delivery. We’ll confirm details during check-in. Light refreshments (coffee, tea, water, and packaged snacks) are available throughout your visit.
Schedule & location. Sessions are booked in advance and start promptly to respect your time. The exact studio address and parking details will be sent in your confirmation email. Please bring a photo ID for building access and arrive 5–10 minutes early if possible.
Privacy & consent. Your video is used for research and training only and is not shared publicly. We’ll review a simple consent form before we begin and answer any questions. You may stop the session at any time if you change your mind.
