Selling (unwantedly) my extremely cool vintage Q-Tron Plus. This thing is the epitome of funk if you’re a bassist looking FOR the funk. The real funk. If you heard Flea from RHCP on some of your favorite albums take that bass forms dive under water you likely heard this pedal. The vintage one too. It has such range that even Queens of the Stone Age use it. It’s safe to say this is the kudeggra of all bass envelope filters. And not just the Q-Tron, but the “plus”. Lastly I’ll say- some cool features of this beast are “selectable filter types” (low, band, high pass), an "Attack Response Switch" for smooth or snappy filter effects, and a "Drive Switch" for up or down filter sweeps. It also offers controllable Q (resonance) for subtle to dramatic filter effects and a boost function for increased gain and sensitivity. The Q-Tron Plus has a built-in effects loop to place external pedals between its preamp and filter sections, allowing for a \"true bypass-like\" function for the external pedals via the Q-Tron's main bypass switch. When the Q-Tron's main on/off switch is in bypass mode, the effects loop is also bypassed, meaning the external pedals will not be active, according to the user Equipboard. This feature enables unique creative combinations by routing a separate effect chain through the loop, such as a distortion pedal, while maintaining the original filter's envelope drive. Enjoy!
