I’ve been a lifelong dog lover—everything from pugs to rottweilers have been part of my family over the years. Right now, I’m looking to adopt a dog who’s comfortable around water (I do have a pool, and “my kid” needs to know how to swim 😉).
I don’t have other dogs in the house, so this would be a one-dog home with plenty of attention. I’ll walk him (or her) almost daily, feed the best quality food I can find, and make sure they get all the love and care they deserve.
To be upfront—I’m hoping for a bit of a “classic guy’s dog” (I know that sounds bad, but you probably know what I mean). Think labs, shepherds, retrievers, boxers—dogs with a little size and personality.
I’m 50, a business professional, and ready to give the right dog a great home. If you know of one that needs rehoming—whether it’s through friends, neighbors, or even someone moving—please reach out. And if you know of other good ways to connect with folks rehoming dogs (outside the big adoption sites, which have been a bit frustrating), I’d love the advice.
