This is not an easy decision for us. We have a family member with special needs who will be coming to live with us soon and will be working with a service dog. During this transition, one of the conditions is that there be no other pets while they adjust. As much as it breaks our hearts, we have to put our loved one’s needs first.
Our greatest wish is to find her a home where she will be deeply loved, have plenty of attention, and continue to thrive. She deserves someone who can give her the same affection and care she’s always given us.
