About myself; I bring a lot of skills-over 25+ years in the healthcare field from front to back etc. And in the field of Customer Service, I have over 45+ years... worked multiple systems, quick learner, hard worker..

My skills/Experience include: registration, insurance verification, authorizations (prior and retro), Patient Account Rep-Collector (Insurance/Patient Follow Up): Insurance Follow Up-Commercial (UHC, Aetna, Cigna, ETC), Government (Medicare, Med-Advantage, VA, Tricare, ETC), MVA, Workers Comp, ETC.... A/R clean-up, claims resolution, work denials, research (Hospital, Providers, Specialist Billing and Claims)
•Resolve insurance, discrepancies. Process medical records request, prepare documents for scanning, review accounts and submit Adjustments Requests where applicable, verify coverage/eligibility as needed, data entry. Transferring/Changing F/C (Financial Class) when applicable (i.e. secondary insurance and/or patients)
•Research of Insurance eligibility, correcting errors, validating and rebilling claims, note accounts of actions. Responsible for reviewing and obtaining owed revenue from assigned patient accounts by re-filing corrected claims to insurance carriers, working denials, as well as reconsiderations on claims.
•Posting adjustments (patients, insurance companies), patient/insurance calls.
•Working past due amounts, verification of credits and refunds due (to insurance or patients), as well as correcting any errors of any errors of wrong adjustments and so forth that cause false credits.
•Work on getting retro authentication as needed (claims services denied for missing authentication).
•Appeals (first and second level)
