WHAT IS THE TICKET TO WORK PROGRAM?
For individuals receiving Social Security Administration (SSA) disability benefits, the return to gainful employment can be complicated, and challenging. The Social Security Administration recognizes the challenges that beneficiaries face in returning to work and, as a result, can offer support to individuals who have the goal of achieving financial self-sufficiency, through SSA’s Ticket to Work program.
If you are currently receiving Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits and you are between ages of 18 through 64, and want to be financially self-sufficient, you are eligible for Ticket services at no cost.
