About the Role
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure. You will own cloud architecture, CI/CD pipelines, security best practices, and operational excellence while working closely with engineering teams to improve reliability, automation, and compliance.
Responsibilities
● Design and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS
● Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple environments
● Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration
● Define and enforce infrastructure and security best practices
● Drive SOC 2 readiness and ongoing compliance efforts
● Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance
● Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
● Manage containerized workloads and orchestration
● Collaborate with engineers to streamline development workflows
● Establish standards for security, backups, and disaster recovery
● Troubleshoot production infrastructure issues
● Maintain clear documentation of architecture and procedures
Required Qualifications
● 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering
● Strong experience with AWS services in production
● Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation, Pulumi ideally)
● Strong aversion to ClickOps
● Strong experience with Docker and containerization
● Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)
● Strong Linux and networking fundamentals
● Scripting experience (Bash, Python)
● Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
● Strong understanding of security best practices and IAM
● Experience supporting SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar compliance frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
● Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration
● Experience with zero-downtime deployments
● Experience with secrets management solutions
● Experience supporting microservices architectures
● Experience working in startup or fast-paced environments
Nice to Have
● Experience with cost optimization and cloud budgeting
● Experience with blue/green or canary deployments
● Experience implementing vulnerability scanning and security tooling
