Reporting to the Regional VP, the Area Driver Manager (ADM) is responsible for overseeing and managing a team of driver managers/supervisors within a designed region. This role involves ensuring th drivers adhere to company policies and safety regulions, optimizing route efficiency, and providing support and guidance to enhance performance and job sisfaction, including effective employee/labor relions, driver retention, and driver safety. The ideal candide will have strong leadership skills, a background in transportion or logistics, and a keen ability to solve problems and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

*Leadership role eligible for annual 15% bonus.*

• Develops stregic plans for optimized performance
• Review operional effectiveness by overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivional work environment, and implementing changes
• Interviews, selects, trains, and manages Driver Managers and Supervisors
• Ensures all personnel have been trained and/or retrained according to operional procedures
• Follows up with new drivers regular scheduled intervals on their performance
• Reviews manpower needs and ensures proper coverage including managing driver dispch for route personnel
• Ensures drivers are reporting to work on time and in complete uniform ready to work
• Ensures employee development by providing ongoing feedback to teams concerning strengths and areas of needed improvement using DriveCam reporting and customer feedback
• Investiges and acts on feedback regarding drivers and safe operional practices
• Responsible for planning of future books offs and run change assignment
• Ensures compliance with safety standards, adherence to all DOT and FMCSA regulions
• Ensures th all company standards are met for all drivers in the areas of appearance, training, educion, safety, and regulory compliance
• Make sure drivers are properly credentialed to opere a commercial motor vehicle
• Work closely with HR to address all levels of personnel mters
• Work with drivers to ensure good labor relions are maintained
• Ensure the following of the CBA to ensure proper handling of grievance process
• Review electronic DOT logs and/or paper DOT logs. Monitors on-time performance on a real-time basis
• Determines the approprie level of discipline based on company policy
• Executes terminion of employment if coaching, counseling, disciplinary action fails

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5+ years in operions leadership
• Excellent leadership, communicion, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze da, genere reports, and make da-driven decisions
• Ability to exercise considerable diplomacy, judgment, and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relionships and discretion with the company and union officials
• Safety and Workers Compension, Labor relions, and CBA experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel, Windows applicions, e-mail etc.
• Ability to travel as needed
