I’m still trying to figure out how Carrie Bradshaw afforded her extravagant lifestyle writing one article a week. I’m usually at a Walmart looking at thirty dollar sneakers and thinking “Whoa! That’s too high!”. We can't all be Carmella Soprano and sit around all day. Since I had to pay five whole dollars to post this, I'm hoping that my ad rings a bell to a few people.
I digress. Let’s talk about ME, me, me. I have experience as a writer for about twenty years. I’m not an ‘old geezer’ or Carrie. I am creative, whether it’s writing humor or deadpan, serious content, and more. Remote, please and thank you. I'd love to write for/with you and not use AI. If you want me to, fine, but I prefer the human brain straight from the head.
I’ve written some of the following:
Copywriter
Radio commercials
Articles
Stand-up comedy routines, as well as roast material
Ghostwriting
Greeting cards
Social media for an ex TV realty person
Freelance material
Speeches
Emcee material
….and so on…as well as a handful of my own manuscripts I’ve started querying out to literary agents.
If it helps, I can say I co-wrote the Constitution or wrote your name on a coffee cup. (But, I have done neither…)
Let’s talk about YOU now. What are YOUR business needs or personal needs for a writer - like me! I can be humorous or serious. That is your choice. I would rather use my creativity to write, but if you twist my arm, yes, I know how to use AI and have a certificate in ChatGPT from an online course.
Budget? Let’s talk about that, too. I know it’s important that you have those guidelines, as well as a time frame for each project. OR - maybe you’re thinking of hiring me full-time. Well, that would be awesome. Don't make me grovel now. I'm giving you my best shot here.
